McCoy Van Hooser, CPNP-AC
McCoy (Evans) Van Hooser was born in 1994, raised in Montgomery, Alabama where she grew up as a patient of Pediatric Healthcare LLC. She has 8+ years of multispeciality nursing experience. She completed her Bachelor of Science in Nursing at Auburn University in 2016 and then earned her Master of Science degree from the University of Alabama at Birmingham (UAB) in 2021. She is certified in pediatric acute care by the Pediatric Nursing Certification Board. Her nursing experience includes: pediatric emergency medicine, dialysis, cardiac, and other units.
McCoy is passionate about giving parents education and information to give the best quality care to their children. She loves developing relationships, supporting families and educating children during her care.
McCoy and her husband Fudge are active members of Trinity Presbyterian Church. When not in Montgomery, they enjoy hunting and spending time in Orange Beach fishing offshore. Their household is dominated by three pets: a yellow lab named Nilla, a miniature dachshund named George and a cat named Rocky.
