Dr. Morrison Retiring

Dear Friends and Families of Pediatric Healthcare,

After 39 years, I will be retiring from Pediatric Healthcare, effective July 21, 2023.  What a privilege it has been to take care of your children.  When I started out in 1984, it never occurred to me that if I did this long enough, I would care for two generations of children.

It’s been a joy to watch babies grow up to eventually become parents.  What I have loved most are the relationships that develop over such a period of time.  Thank you for allowing me to walk alongside you in the journey we call parenting.  I am convinced there is no greater calling.  I will cherish the memories.

I am available this summer for well-child, school/sports, and college physicals.  After my retirement, I encourage you to continue with Pediatric Healthcare.  I have full confidence that my colleagues will continue the high standard of care for your family that you have come to expect from us.  No immediate decision needs to be made, but you may indicate your choice of provider at a future visit, or by calling our front desk.  My patients will be cared for by Dr. Burkett, Dr. Perry, and nurse practitioner, Madeline Hitt. Dr. Trumbull will be unable to accept transfers due to the busyness of his own practice.

Always remember that “children are a blessing from the Lord.” Psalms 127:3
